Chef Gloria Felix is a native of Southern California, and graduated from the prestigious California School of Culinary Arts- Le Cordon Bleu Program in 2001. From there, she has worked behind the stoves of many of the top restaurants in Los Angeles, including Vida, Lucques, AOC, Grace, and Jar. She counts some of L.A.’s preeminent chefs as her mentors, particularly Chefs Suzanne Goin of Lucques and AOC and Neil Fraser of Grace.

Additionally, Chef Felix earned her certification in authentic Verace Pizza Napoletana (VPN)- the art of pizza cooked in a wood-burning oven according to an age-old culinary tradition. She trained with Peppe Miele of Antica Pizzeria, the only Los Angeles member of the VPN.

Chef Felix was the opening Executive Chef at Silver Lake’s Blair Restaurant, where her unique menu garnered a rare two stars from Irene Virbila of the Los Angeles Times. She is thrilled for the opportunity to serve the community of Silver Lake her exceptional creations, and provide a dining experience that will draw in crowds from all parts of Los Angeles.
